Right and Wrong grappled and hung on to Apathy with all their bias strength, but were quickly weakening to his new found fortitude. Their lone brother was out of control and even their talking points and conjectures seemed not to stimulate him anymore. Times were now turbulent and the soot and haze of doubt, now shrouded all reason. Nothing was clear anymore. Words were now vague and twisted, and Apathy was choking to death on the illusive and deceptive sustenance of it all. He no longer cared about what his brothers debated over, nor was he sympathetic to any cause, other than his own peace of mind. Things had changed. It was the confusing rhetoric, falsehoods, and self indoctrination in the belief that good and evil were simply a composite of whatever it took to master and control mankind. No one stood up any longer with clinched fist, nor did they mount burning barricades to denounce the falsehoods and proclaim the disbeliefs. There were just too many entanglements of thought, that caused the atrophy of a free and independent spirit. No one simply cared anymore. Apathy had gained momentum and was now breaking away from the concepts of Right and Wrong, and was now seeking the solitude and comfort of entitlements. Truly, a brave new world....but, soulless of freedom.
